How to repair the problem of aluminum alloy die casting? Die casting is a kind of metal casting process, which is characterized by applying high pressure to the melted metal through the mold cavity. Aluminum alloy die casting is a kind of precision casting method, which uses high pressure to force the molten metal into the metal mold with complex shape. Pressure casting is referred to as die casting, which is a kind of pouring molten alloy liquid into the pressure chamber to fill the steel mold cavity with high speed. A casting process in which an alloy liquid is solidified under pressure to form a casting.

Aluminum alloy die-castingHow to repair problems in the parts? Die casting is a metal casting process, which is characterized by applying high pressure to molten metal by using the cavity of the mold. Aluminum alloy die casting is a precision casting method that uses high pressure to force the metal melt into a metal mold with complex shape. Die casting is called die casting for short. It is a casting method that pours molten alloy liquid into the pressure chamber, fills the cavity of the steel mold at high speed, and solidifies the alloy liquid under pressure to form castings

1. Infiltration of die castings

is to infiltrate the die castings into the infiltrating liquid with the function of infiltration and filling, so that the infiltrating liquid can penetrate into the loose parts inside the die castings, thus maintaining the air tightness of the high pressure castings

2. The

die castings produced according to the normal procedures will not be deformed generally. The castings with complex shapes and thin walls may be caused by uneven stress during ejection or improper holding time, as well as collision during handling. Or due to the limitation of the structure of the aluminum alloy die casting itself, the deformation caused by residual stress (such as the warping of the casting with large plane after die casting) is generally allowed to be corrected manually or mechanically after deformation

3. Repair of die castings

After die casting or processing, if any defect is found that does not meet the technical requirements, the castings will generally be scrapped. Repair shall be carried out only under the following circumstances and when repair is possible

(1) Castings with complex shape, difficult die-casting or long processing cycle

(2) With cast in inserts, the inserts are made of very valuable materials, or are difficult to manufacture and cannot be reused after recycling
