In the specific production process, we often ignore its necessity, operators also try to facilitate. If it's too much trouble to go back and forth, we won't connect the cooling line. Some companies even can't use cooling circulating water when ordering molds, in order to reduce costs, resulting in consequences. Mold steel is generally made of special mold steel through a variety of solutions, and even the best mold steel has its limits, such as ambient temperature. Under the condition of mold use, if the temperature of the mold is too high, it is easy to crack the surface of the mold kernel at the early stage, and some molds may not exceed 2000 mold cracks.
Even in the mold processing, because the mold temperature is too high, the mold will change, and even achieve about 400 degrees after accurate measurement. Under such conditions, the defilm agent is very easy to crack in the cold condition, and the processed products are very easy to deformation, contusion and surface foaming. When the mold is used to cool the circulating water, the application of defilm agent can be greatly reduced, making it difficult for operators to apply defilm agent to reduce the mold ambient temperature. It is characterized by reasonably increasing die life, saving die casting cycle time, improving product quality, reducing surface blistering, bruising and aluminization, and reducing the application of defilm agent. It can also reduce the loss of small chain and core caused by the mold ambient temperature overtemperature.
2. If the mold is equipped with hydrogen core control, it is strictly prohibited to have a connection head on the power line between the die casting machine and the mold. The reasons are obvious. In the daily production process, it is difficult to prevent the power line from touching water, or the area where the connector is bundled is very easy to crack, resulting in wiring with the CNC lathe. If the data signal is not correct, the alarm will automatically shut down, delay the time, the data signal will be confused, the mold will be destroyed. Lead to unnecessary trouble. Keep the button switch against moisture.
3. The mold must be heated in the production process to avoid cracking when the cold mold suddenly encounters the hot metal liquid. Complex mold can use gas furnace, liquefied petroleum gas, good mold temperature table, simple mold can be heated at slow pressure.
Heat treatment of aluminum alloy die casting:
1. Anneal the aluminum alloy casting is heated to a relatively high ambient temperature, generally about 300℃. After a period of heat insulation, a process of cooling the furnace to the room temperature is called quenching. In the quenching process, the ionic crystal dissolves and the second phase particle system gathers, which can remove the thermal stress of the cast parts, stabilize the specifications of the cast parts, reduce the deformation and improve the plasticity of the cast parts.
2. Aging treatment will heat the cast parts to the strongest possible ambient temperature, close to the solution point of co-crystallization, maintain good for a long time under conditions, and then rapidly cool to melt and strengthen the components to a certain extent. This kind of continuous high temperature situation is fixed at room temperature, called aging treatment. Aging treatment can improve the strength and plasticity of casting parts and enhance the corrosion resistance of aluminum alloy.
